Market knowledge & dynamics, product strategies, industry updates, customer feedback….all these are important to build efficiency and a competitive edge in the markets. Gears 2010-11, a neoteric initiative was driven with the objective of providing a unique platform to the business team, sales team and the vendors to come together for an informative and interactive session.

The format of the meet ensured that the challenges, feedbacks and concerns are captured and effective strategies are arrived at for a spurt in the business growth. The meet was an opportunity to showcase the products and get first hand feedback from the "feet on street" team. The sales team was updated about the USP and applications of the products, through the presentations and demonstrations by the Vendors, for better and effective pitching to the customers.

The charter of the meet being extensive and the product dynamics varied, the meet was divided into 2 phases. Phase I had the Components and Peripherals group and vendors coming together and Phase II had the PC, Creative and Enterprise groups.

Few Vendors that participated were Alienware, Hitachi, Iomega, Liteon, Logitech, MSI, UMAX, Western Digital, Apple, Belkin, Lenovo, Microsoft, NEC, Trendmicro, Wacom, Wipro.
